Just yesterday, March 24, Julia Barretto's Pilot episode of 'Mirabella' aired on ABS-CBN resulting in a BIG HIT as it went trending on micro-blogging site, Twitter with the hashtag of #TheStoryOfMirabella. Now, the 17-year old model and actress will reveal more insights in her life as a Barretto, the main star of the same name in 'Mirabella', and her thoughts on the most asked question, 'will she have a kissing scene?'
With the Pilot episode of 'Mirabella' starring both Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil, ABS-CBN didn't disappoint with another hit new teleserye.
'Mirabella' is Julia's first major tv series where she is starring as a young lady who is afraid to fall in love or live a normal life because of her dark, woody, complexion. A magic candle then transforms her into a beautiful lady and is able to live her life in confidence. Although, still affected by the curse by her mother and father of her woody complexion, how is she supposed to live her life?

Julia and her role as being a 'Barretto'
As a Barretto and one of the most famous names in showbiz, Julia is feeling the pressure of her family name.
Julia feels the pressure of being a Barretto alongside her parents and aunts.
Julia's mother, Marjorie Barretto told Buzz ng Bayan that she knows that her daughter feels the pressure from all the expectations, but has adviced Julia to “remove the pressure and just give it her best.”
Also, with similar sympathy, 'Mirabella' director Eric Salud understands Julia's situation with high-demands but has a belief in Julia that she will eventually make a name for herself in time.
"Julia can never be her titas (aunts) Claudine and Gretchen Barretto but she will be, in time, Julia Barretto,” Eric Salud said to PeP.
When Julia was asked to choose whose footsteps she would like to follow, she picked her aunt Claudine as she said that she has been a fan of all her projects in teleseryes and movies, especially in the fantaserye Marina.
As Julia is full of praises from her aunts, she admits that her main plan is to “just be myself and figure it out.”
Julia's first major teleserye (Cofradia) was actually cancelled.
Although Julia has debuted in her first major teleserye as the main star, her first was-to-be teleserye, Cofradia was actually cancelled before. Based on the Dominador Ad Castillo's novel of the same name, Cofradia was supposed to be a teleserye about a girl who is also insecure of her dark complexion then becomes beautiful because of a magic candle. Although there was a film adaptation in the 50's and 70's.
Sadly, the project was scrapped due to complaints of racism which Julia revealed in an interview. Julia also shared on Buzz ng Bayan on Sunday that she almost lost hope on her career after the cancellation, but she stayed positive and continued on with her acting workshops until the opportunity of 'Mirabella' appeared.
Julia has also revealed in a previous interview with ABS-CBN that she has no regrets ever since 'Cofradia' since she believes that 'Mirabella' is “equally exciting, equally beautiful, even better.”
Julia and Enrique: Kissing scene or not? Where is their love team to lead?

Disappointed? Julia admitted that she is in no hurry to grow out of her "tweenie-tweenie" image.
“Ayoko po kasi magmadali, e. Siguro habang tweenie-tweenie pa 'yong projects doon muna ako, kasi hindi na ako makakabalik pag nagmadali ako, e.” She admitted.
Although Julia won't be having any mature kissing scenes, she revealed that other members of the 'Mirabella' cast will have intimate scenes like Mylene Dizon.
Despite the 'no kissing scene fact', viewers show all their support to Julia and her leading men of Enrique Gil and Sam Concepcion as there will be so much room for love to blossom.
People are now wondering if the love team between Julia and Enrique will hit off as popular as the popular love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Julia and Enrique are hoping for the fans to love their partnership, revealed according to The Philippines Star.
“We’re just doing our best,” Enrique said full of optimism and hope of their love team. While Julia of course hopes for success, but aims to go on a “different path.”
There have been many cases for love team partners to develop off-screen romances, but Julia has already told the press that she “has so much time to enjoy” being single.
