<div style="text-align: justify;">
Just yesterday, March 24, <b>Julia Barretto</b>'s Pilot episode of <b>'Mirabella' </b>aired on <b>ABS-CBN </b>resulting in a BIG HIT as it went trending on micro-blogging site, <b>Twitter</b> with the hashtag of <b>#TheStoryOfMirabella. </b>Now, the 17-year old model and actress will reveal more insights in her life as a Barretto, the main star of the same name in 'Mirabella', and her thoughts on the most asked question, 'will she have a kissing scene?'</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With the Pilot episode of '<b>Mirabella</b>' starring both <b>Julia Barretto </b>and <b>Enrique Gil, ABS-CBN </b>didn't disappoint with another hit new teleserye.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
'Mirabella' is Julia's first major tv series where she is starring as a young lady who is afraid to fall in love or live a normal life because of her dark, woody, complexion. A magic candle then transforms her into a beautiful lady and is able to live her life in confidence. Although, still affected by the curse by her mother and father of her woody complexion, how is she supposed to live her life?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yesterday, the pilot episode was a hit with trending hashtags and comments that featured their love and positivity to the brand new show. Were you able to watch the pilot episode? Are you excited for the next episode?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Julia and her role as being a 'Barretto'</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As a Barretto and one of the most famous names in showbiz, Julia is feeling the pressure of her family name. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Julia feels the pressure of being a Barretto alongside her parents and aunts.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Julia's mother, <b>Marjorie Barretto </b>told <b>Buzz ng Bayan </b>that she knows that her daughter feels the pressure from all the expectations, but has adviced Julia to “remove the pressure and just give it her best.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also, with similar sympathy, 'Mirabella' director <b>Eric Salud </b>understands Julia's situation with high-demands but has a belief in Julia that she will eventually make a name for herself in time.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Julia can never be her titas (aunts) Claudine and Gretchen Barretto but she will be, in time, Julia Barretto,” Eric Salud said to PeP.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When Julia was asked to choose whose footsteps she would like to follow, she picked her aunt <b>Claudine</b> as she said that she has been a fan of all her projects in teleseryes and movies, especially in the fantaserye <b>Marina.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As Julia is full of praises from her aunts, she admits that her main plan is to “just be myself and figure it out.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<b><div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Julia's first major teleserye (Cofradia) was actually cancelled.</b></div>
</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Although Julia has debuted in her first major teleserye as the main star, her first was-to-be teleserye, <b>Cofradia </b>was actually cancelled before. Based on the <b>Dominador Ad Castillo</b>'s novel of the same name, Cofradia was supposed to be a teleserye about a girl who is also insecure of her dark complexion then becomes beautiful because of a magic candle. Although there was a film adaptation in the 50's and 70's.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sadly, the project was scrapped due to complaints of racism which Julia revealed in an interview. Julia also shared on <b>Buzz ng Bayan </b>on Sunday that she almost lost hope on her career after the cancellation, but she stayed positive and continued on with her acting workshops until the opportunity of 'Mirabella' appeared.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Julia has also revealed in a previous interview with ABS-CBN that she has no regrets ever since 'Cofradia' since she believes that 'Mirabella' is “equally exciting, equally beautiful, even better.”</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<b><div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Julia and Enrique: Kissing scene or not? Where is their love team to lead?</b></div>
</b><div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The most frequently asked question to any love team, "Will there be a kissing scene?"</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, reported by <b>The Philippines Star</b>, Julia answers our questions with, “Bawal po."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Disappointed? Julia admitted that she is in no hurry to grow out of her "tweenie-tweenie" image.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Ayoko po kasi magmadali, e. Siguro habang tweenie-tweenie pa 'yong projects doon muna ako, kasi hindi na ako makakabalik pag nagmadali ako, e.” She admitted.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Although Julia won't be having any mature kissing scenes, she revealed that other members of the 'Mirabella' cast will have intimate scenes like <b>Mylene Dizon</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Despite the 'no kissing scene fact', viewers show all their support to Julia and her leading men of <b>Enrique Gil </b>and <b>Sam Concepcion </b>as there will be so much room for love to blossom.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
People are now wondering if the love team between Julia and Enrique will hit off as popular as the popular love team of <b>Kathryn Bernardo </b>and <b>Daniel Padilla</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Julia and Enrique are hoping for the fans to love their partnership, revealed according to The Philippines Star.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“We’re just doing our best,” Enrique said full of optimism and hope of their love team. While Julia of course hopes for success, but aims to go on a “different path.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There have been many cases for love team partners to develop off-screen romances, but Julia has already told the press that she “has so much time to enjoy” being single.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
34-year old actress and “<b>Mula sa Puso</b>” star <b>Claudine
Barretto</b> has been accused with alleged drug use with picture and video
evidence provided by her husband <b>Raymart
Santiago</b> on Tuesday.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
After dodging already numerous accusations of his estranged
wife, 40-year old actor gathered the guts to take a step in revealing the
actress’ side. Filed before the Marikina Regional Trial Court, Raymart issued a
counter-affidavit relating to Claudine’s supposed drug use in counter towards
the cases bombarded against him by Claudine.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Claudine and Raymart have been married ever since March 2006
and they have two children, biological son <b>Santino</b>
6 and adopted daughter <b>Sabina</b> 9.
Claudine is working to make the temporary protection order (TPO) against
Santiago, which focuses on the alleged physical, economic, psychological and
sexual abuse she suffered from her husband, a permanent order. This case was
filed late August against Raymart for his also alleged violation against the <b>Anti-Violence against Women and Their
Children (VAWC) Act of 2004</b>. According to the actress, these abuses date
back to the year 2002.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Raymart’s 30-page counter-affidavit includes answers against
Claudine’s accusations dealing with over 40 accounts in his defense and
testimonies from Claudine’s three older siblings, <b>Marjorie, Gretchen, </b>and <b>JJ</b>,
who have also been estranged from Claudine and their parents ever since their controversial
family feud which was uncovered earlier this year.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Cited in Raymart’s account are the thoughts by Claudine’s
siblings who all supposedly believe that Claudine is mentally ill and needs
professional help. Also stated was Raymart’s alleged statement of being a
victim towards domestic violence.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
"Ayaw ko sana pag-usapan 'yon, pero kinakailangan eh.
Kinakailangan ko na sumagot. Siguro para na rin sa mga anak ko, to protect
them," Raymart told <b>ABS-CBN</b>,
emphasizing his point of how he wants to gain his children under the power of
custody.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Claudine's supposed condition<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
During the incident in late August, Raymart already gave
hints towards Claudine’s supposed condition when he gave criticisms towards the
actress’ parents, Miguel and Inday, for allegedly not attending Claudine’s mental
well-being.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
"Kay mommy at daddy, alam niyo ang totoo. Tayo-tayo ang
nag-uusap dati, 'yung problema ni Claudine. Alam niyo and sana panindigan nila
'yung sinabi nila dati sa akin," was the comment Raymond gave at the
moment.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
In the actors’ sworn statement he includes videos and photos
which is supposedly firm proof towards his wife’s alleged drug abuse. Included
in the statement are medical records which show positive in Claudine’s drug
test an admission to a drug rehabilitation center.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
More comments from the Barretto family are from the time of
the family’s public feud in April as Gretchen and JJ brought up Claudine’s
supposed ‘illness’ with also a comment by JJ that she was put in a hospital for
a time.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
JJ also responded to Inday’s move of disowning Gretchen in
favor of her youngest daughter by making a statement where he talked about the ‘truth’
about Claudine’s ‘condition’.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
"May I remind you that it was you and dad who had her
put in a hospital because you wanted to save her from destroying herself. Yes,
Claudine is going through rough times. Again. And if you truly love her, then
you should take concrete steps to save her rather than hitting Gretchen simply
because she is standing up to Claudine," was the comment JJ made in April.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<b>‘Facts’ toward the whole<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Atty. Ruth Castello,
Raymond Santiago’s legal counsel, made a comment on Tuesday that his client was
“forced” into making the detailed account because of the bombardment of cases
filed against him by Claudine.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
niya kaya napilitan na siyang magsabi ng totoo," she said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="PT-BR"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Castello continued her statement as she was pushed to
comment on the gravitiy of Raymart’s sworn statements "We just stated
facts. We just countered the allegations detailed by their camp. Those are all
facts." She said as it also included Barretto’s supposed drug abuse.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
"Everything that we wrote in the counter-affidavit is
according to him, and these are all facts supported by evidence. Makikita naman
do'n, lahat 'yon may ebidensya," she concluded.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
As a response to Raymart’s accusations on Tuesday, Claudine’s
legal counsel, Atty. Jun Mataro, also had a comment to put into the argument with
saying that the real question is not whether the actress has or has not been
using drugs, but if she was abused by the actor which was detailed in the VAWC
case is the real issue.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
To be formally answered towards Raymart’s affidavit,
Claudine’s camp with respond on October 8. As an actress, Claudine planned to
make a comeback on <b>Kapamilya</b> TV soon;
will these issues affect her popularity and face as a star? </div>
