The holidays and Christmas has started with a very successful first day of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 (MMFF) as December 25 marked the official start of the screening of movies from eight different entries of the 39th MMFF 2013.

The MMFF organizers has stated that the first day of the release to the movies have been very successful especially for the movie, “My Little Bossings” which topped the charts as the highest grossed and most popular movie yet. The second on the list is Vice Ganda’s “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy,” which Teen King and Queen’s horror-movie film, “Pagpag” is in third. 
The official account for the MMFF 2013 and the eight officialy entries hasn’t given out all the official figures of the gross income to the movies, but was able to tweet on Twitter the top ranked movies of the day.
Below is a list of just some official Gross Income rankings for the first day of the MMFF 2013:
1. My Little Bossings = P50.4 million

2. Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy = P47.6 million

3. Pagpag = 23.7 Million

Eugene Domingo’s comedy movie, “Kimmy Dora” takes fourth place in the box office list.
