A new viral photo of two
little girls from Los Angeles, USA
has been spread widely around netizens from the Philippines to the USA. The picture
is of two little girls happily selling lemonade at their stall with a sign “Lemonade,
Ice Tea, to Help Typhoon Families”. The funds from the stall are supposed to go
to the victims of super typhoon Haiyan
(Yolanda local).
The now viral picture was
posted on Twitter by Shekinah Pugh, the sister of American
actor Zachary Levi, with the caption
of “The future of humanity is alive & well in my neighbourhood. Thank God 4
the beautiful hearts of children #Philippines”.

Currently, the original
post has gotten over 1,900 retweets and 1,700 favorites, and on Facebook a
repost got over 3,600 like and 495 shares along with 90 comments that continue growing.
The photo has also gained
popularity as it was mentioned on ABC-CBN’s
noontime program, “It’s Showtime”
during its live telecast on Tuesday.
Relief efforts worldwide
from over 27 countries accumulating millions of Philippine pesos have been
given to aid the victims of the super typhoon which hit landfall on Friday
killing around 10,000 and counting.
