Philippines ‘Popstar Princess’ and one of the amazing judges in The Voice of The PhilippinesSarah Geronimo was officially nominated as Best Southeast Asia Act for the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) this November 10, 2013.


On the official EMA page, they state the different awards of the 25 year old Sarah like her high-rating TV shows, record-breaking concerts, multiplatinum albums and more. Recognition of Sarah’s phenomenal popularity is also shown on the web with the title of the first Filipino to receive the Best Asian Artist (Philippines) at the 2012 MNet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong.

Many other awards are featured along with the 2004 Nickelodeon Philippines’ Kids’ Choice Award, six-time Awit Awards winner, unlimited endorsements, and many more. The submitted entry of Sarah’s music is her “It Takes a Man and a Woman” video starring both her and John Lloyd Cruz. With too many achievements to list, all of us know the reason why we should vote for our ‘Pinoy Pride Star’, Sarah Geronimo.




Competition is also strong as Sarah was nominated alongside Malaysia’s Golden Boy of Ballads’ Hafiz, one of Thailand’s finest bands Slot Machine, Indonesian alternative pop band Noah, well-known multilingual singer Olivia Ong, and most influential star in V-Pop My Tam.

Other than the category of Best Southeast Asia Act, vote for your favorite artists and music from the categories of Best Song, Best Female, Best Male, Best Video, Best Live, Best Alternative, and many more. Especially don’t forget to watch the Live EMAs this November 10, 2013 which will be held in Amsterdam.
