A College Course all about Miley Cyrus is introduced to New York by Skidmore College!
College is one of the most interesting times of anyone's life, but now New York is making it a little bit more interesting! Skidmore College, a private liberal arts college in Saratoga Springs is now offering a course all about Miley Cyrus.
Visiting Assistant Professor, Carolyn Chernoff entitles the course "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media." She says that she is going to focus on the 21 year-old singer-performer and all of her incarnations throughout her life in order to be able to study topics like race, fame, gender, class and power.
Chernoff states that she got the idea for the course right after she taught a course on youth culture which featured a video of Miley's infamous twerking during the 2013 MTV Video Awards.
Did I mention twerking yet? Yes, you will have to learn how to twerk during your own free time, Chernoff says.
