Achievements this year continue as Jake Cuenca and Enchong Dee have made the most movies along with that success, their projects have also made the Top List. 90% of the movies were distributed by Star Cinema and also 90% of the superstars in those movies were from ABSCBN. Also, GMA-7's star, Marian Rivera has achieved the title of two of her movies to make the Top List. This year has definitely been the best year for the local movie industry.
Meanwhile, the lowest grossing films this year get some popularity like Rakiteros and Alagwa, although the lowest of the low, METRO MANILA has been internationally recognized and although not directly sold commercial, grosses around $15,000 in the Box Office.
As the nearing of the Metro Manila Film Festival is upon the film industry, the Top List will change dramatically, so watch out for the new-coming movies on December 25!
Did you watch any of these movies that placed the top? Do you think these movies deserve the title?
