Have you ever dreamt of being like an astronaut and just floating around cause of lack of gravity? Well it looks like here is your chance to witness Zero Gravity this January 4, 2014!

According to the British astronomer, Patrick Moore, we can all be a part of a rare and crazy astronomical occurrence during the morning of January 4, 2013 at exactly 9:47am (possibly British time-zone?). The event will actually be a rare alignment of planets as the planet Pluto will pass directly behind Jupiter, in relation to Earth. In other words, the combined gravitational force of both planets will created a more powerful tidal pull which will temporarily counteract the Earth's gravity which will result in, viola, us to weigh less and be able to float a bit!

Patrick Moore calls this occurrence the Jovian-Plutonian Gravitational Effect. He has told other scientists about the phenomenon and how they and other people around the world can experience the effect of it by jumping into the air at the exact moment the alignment is to occur, resulting in being able to have an unfamiliar floating sensation.

More proof of this phenomenon is that astronomers throughout the years have been aware of this phenomenon and when it is to happen as all 9 planets, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury are to be on the same side of the Sun within an arc of 95 degrees wide. Although now, science has expected that the gravitational effect of the other planets relating to the Earth's crust is maximum even at their closest approach.

Although I said that your dream of floating like an astronaut could become reality, it is a bit of an exaggeration as you wont be able to float around your house at that time, but to have a floating sensation, if you jump into the air at the exact time of 9:47am on January the 4th, 2014, you should land safely back on the ground in a matter of 3 seconds rather than the normal 0.2 seconds. Still amazing right?

Make January 4, 2014 a trending day as of course, people doing crazy stunts and uploading them on YouTube will definitely happen on that day, will you be a part of that?
