Pinoy Big Brother All In Big Winner Daniel Matsunaga has showed the nation how much he loves the Philippines and now, he wants to prove to everyone that he really does belong here in the Philippines.

The Brazilian-Japanese model has announced on ‘Tapatan Ni Tunying’ last Thursday (September 4) that he wants to obtain a Filipino citizenship through naturalization. Not only that, Daniel also plans to convince his whole family which lives in Brazil, to come over and live here in the Philippines.

“I’m planning to bring my whole family here. I want to stay here for the rest of my life,” Daniel says. “I’m just waiting for my father to retire from his job. He said maybe after two years,” he continues.
The model is not only just a model; he is also a professional football player. Daniel also admitted that he wants to join the Azkals to play for the Philippnes.
“I’ll try to enroll in Azkals. I really want to be part of it. Every opportunity that God has given me in the Philippines is amazing. I never had this in my entire life so I really love this country,” Daniel says.
There have been much criticism and bashing that Daniel didn’t deserve to win the top trending reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” due to his citizenship. Daniel has always kept positive and retaliates from the negative comments by expressing his love of the Philippines and how he considers himself truly as a Filipino.
“We can’t choose where we are born, but we choose where we belong. I’ve been living here for five years. I’m a Filipino,” he explains. “If it’s needed for me to have a drop of Filipino blood, I am willing to get it from Makati Med. My heart really belongs here.” Daniel adds.
Daniel definitely shows more Filipino spirit than most of the Filipinos that were born and grew up here in our country. Let us give Daniel much respect for his love and pride of the Philippines!
