Inspiring people for over 23 years, 'Maalaala Mo Kaya' will bring us another story feature 'The Voice Kids Philippines' second runner-up Juan Karlos "JK" Labajo and his life story. The 13-year old heartthrob has been misconceived as a very well-off individual just because he is half-German and half-Filipino. JK will share his real story of how he has faced the life of poverty ever since he has been born and how he was raised by his grandmother and uncle where his thoughts have always been that he had to work hard for everything for his family.


“A lot of people think that I come from a rich family because of the way I look. But what they don’t know is that we had huge debts in Cebu and we transferred from one house to another because of poverty,” JK had shared as he grew up not knowing his German father while his mother was always far away because of work.

 

Learn the story behind the heartthrob teenager with an angelic voice and what made him decide to be a singer. Also, how did he gather the strength to amaze all three coaches despite the pain he felt from losing his mother five days before the audition to 'The Voice Kids'?
