Fans of the hit heart-tugging drama anthology of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and fans of "The Voice Kids" 2nd runner-up Juan Karlos "JK" Labajo collided into the number one spot of the most watched program over the weekend last Saturday (September 27).
The episode featured the life story of the young singer as he also portrayed himself as an actor. According to Kantar Media, the episode had hit a national TV rating of 30.7% which is equivalent to 11 points higher than GMA's "Magpakailanman" which achieved a score of only 19.5%.
Not just dominating the ratings of television viewers nationwide, JK also grabbed the worldwide trending hastag of #MMKJuanKarlos as fans all over the world shared their thoughts about JK's inspiring story at a young age of only 13. JK showed the world how to hold on to a dream no matter how hard life is; the teenage heartthrob had to conquer a life with an incomplete family and an obstacle where his mother had passed away days before his audition to "The Voice Kids".
