The new trend and hit game Flappy Bird for smartphones will be taken down from app stores
everywhere according to the developer of the game, Dong Nguyen.
The reason: Dong Nguyen can’t take it anymore! No legal
issues involved.
Flappy Bird has spread like wildfire all over the world and
its simplicity and straightforward objective of guiding a bird to fly through
small spaces between pipes.
Dong Nguyen posted just recently on his Twitter account on
Sunday that he can’t take the pressure anymore and isn’t enthusiastic to
continue on the game.
The game’s popularity, like everything, has its downfall as
there are many haters who express their rage and frustration of the game and
how hard it is to achieve a high score.
Dong Nguyen has expressed his thoughts about the game and
how everyone has overrated his success with Flappy Bird as he didn’t expect the
game to get much attention.
Also said by developer was that his game isn’t up for sale
to other developers who might want to handle the game instead, but promises to
continue to make more games.
I am sorry 'Flappy Bird' users, 22 hours from now, I will take 'Flappy Bird' down. I cannot take this anymore.

It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.

I also don't sell 'Flappy Bird', please don't ask.

And I still make games.
