On Monday night, January 13, residents all over Metro Manila were left speechless and in awe with the beautiful moon and it's rainbow halo. People all over the net have taken a picture of the rare phenomenon and posted them online.
This rare incident only happens in cold months and according to scientists, is causes by sunlight that is refracted into millions of randomly oriented ice crystals in the atmosphere.
Different people have different outlooks to the beautiful scene of a haloed moon as some find it romantic while some find their superstitions stating a storm to come.
