WestJet, a Canadian carrier, has uploaded a very merry Christmas video which has gone viral as the air-liner makes Christmas wishes come true to a plane-full of flyers that don’t suspect a thing as 19 hidden cameras, a giant projection screen that looks like a gift-wrapped present with Santa on it and a happy group of WestJet volunteers create magic!

This heartwarming video from WestJet which was uploaded on YouTube December 8, got 1.2 million views just on the day after being uploaded and already over 6 million as of writing now! The video deserves every single view as WestJet airlines pulled an epic and impressing feat while the passengers were on their flight between Toronto and Calgary.

In the video, Christmas spirit music and Santa’s voice in the background make the Christmas spirit all the more jolly. Shown at the department lounges of Toronto and Hamilton international airports in Ontario after the flyers scan their boarding passes, live Santa calls out to the children and passengers by name and ask them what they want for Christmas.

As every passenger expressed their heart’s desires with each wish like a choo choo train, a big-screen TV, and even new socks and underwear, the WestJet team work with speed as they frantically wrote down a note on the long wish list and dashed to nearby retailer stores to make every wish come true.

As the passengers were safe on the plane, the magic airline elf team of 150 people split up into teams to shop at retailers across Calgary buying sports goods, cameras, dolls and toys, tablets, phones, and of course socks and underwear, and even a big-screen TV.

After that, the team frantically wrapped all the gifts with bows and tags with the family’s names and started the Christmas cheer with fake snow at the baggage claim area where they also rolled out all the gifts on the baggage carousel to all of the surprised and ecstatic flyers.

All of the frantic chores and rush was worth it in the end as laughter, shock, hugs and kisses, along with tears of joy were the thanks of the happy flyers to Santa and the WestJet team as they celebrated with a “Twas the Night Before Christmas” greeting.

Santa ended with a “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good flight!”
