Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up, Shamsey Supsup is preparing to become Mrs. Lee by December 29, 2013. Yes, the perfect couple is finally going to officially tie the knot not only once, but twice!

The couple have made the announcement official that the both of them will say their “I do’s” not only once, but twice! In an interview, Shamcey talked about their wedding to be, "It's going to be on December. We have a wedding here and another wedding somewhere. December 29 ['yung first wedding] and a week after ['yung second]," she said.

Just last June 16, 2013 the beauty queen Shamcey and model/businessman Lloyd Lee had their engagement ceremony at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong via Ting Hun which is a traditional Chinese ceremony that symbolizes that both families accept their new daughter/son-in-law as a part of their family.

Now, as the date is getting closer and closer, Shamcey admits that she is both “happy and haggard” for her dream-day. Still part of the interview, Shamcey talked about their preparations.
"Medyo haggard lang and happy. I have a lot of work at sinisingit lang. I didn't know that I will be hands on sa wedding kasi simple lang okay na sa akin. Sabi ko nga 50 people lang, akala ko dati pwede na 'yang ganitong design. Ngayon pati kulay ng font ng invitation, ganoon siya ka-detalye. Habang patagal nang patagal, mas nare-realize mo na kailangan mo pa ng ganito, ng ganito o dagdag pa ng like this. I didn't know, we started small and it became big," she said.
The motif of the wedding will be very classic and feature pastel colors and everything will be in lace according to Shamcey. As for the honeymoon, Shamcey really wanted to go to Europe since she hasn’t been there before, but since it will be winter when they get married, they have to postpone the trip to Holy Week.

Their Love Story

The beautiful couple has actually had a very sweet love story as “love at first sight” may actually be a possibility with both Shamcey and Lloyd as a perfect example.

Shamcey has revealed her and Lloyd’s love story in the past from where they first met to where they are now. According to different interviews from through the years, Shamcey had already found the ‘perfect man’ to spend the rest of her life with. Kind of like “love at first sight”, she said that she knew that Lloyd was the ‘right guy’ ever since the first time she met him the day of her birthday before the Binibining Pageant two years ago.

She stated that everything went fast from them as the two had developed romantic feelings for one another within just a week of their first meeting resulting becoming a couple after one month of courtship.

Shamcey had been praying long and hard for a boyfriend at that time where she even set high standards. God was good as He heard her and answered her prayers with Lloyd where Shamcey keeps him with the title as her first boyfriend. Shamcey is not 27 and happy.
Also, last year she had received a diamond ring from Lloyd which represented their deep love for one another as it was a “promise” ring that symbolizes Lloyd’s pure love and intentions for her.

Aren’t they just the sweetest and perfect couple?

Thoughts on Married Life

Shamcey is more than excited to become Mrs. Lee on December 29, but being a mother is not on the agenda of married life just yet. When she thinks of childbirth she just can’t help but shiver at the thought.

“I’m really scared,” Shamcey admitted during an interview after the launch of RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network in the Philippines. “Sabi ko sa kanya (Lloyd), if we decide to have a baby, kailangan paghandaan ko. Takot ako. I know some people had complications or they die.”

Although she may be scared, she isn’t completely pushing away the thought of being a mother. She admits that in two-years, before she turns 30, he will be ready to have a baby.

On the other hand, life as a businessman’s wife doesn’t seem to frighten her at all.

“I help him (Lloyd) in his (textile) business,” she stated.

On some days, Shamcey even hosts “Interior Motives” which is a weekly show in the Lifestyle Network and she also runs an architectural firm that her and her friends have made.

“Hindi siya makikialam about my work. The only thing that will change is we will be living in one place. Most of the time wherever I go kasama ko siya,” she said.

Shamcey’s life won’t change that much when she officially becomes Mrs. Lee, so let’s all show all of our support and happiness for the couple!

Post your thoughts, comments, and congratulations to the both of them before!
