Koreen Medina places third runner-up in Miss Intercontinental 2013 -Crowning Video and List of Winners

The Miss International 2013 pageant was joined by 59 beauties all around the continents and the Philippines has continued to shine in pageants with a winning streak as Koreen Medina, representing Philippines, has placed third runner-up in the pageant which was held in Magdeburg, Germany just on December 14, 2013.

During the coronation night, Koreen Medina has also been crowned Miss Continental Queen of Asia and Oceana where the event was held inside the Maritim Hall, Maritim Hotel Magdeburg. Her placement in the pageant has been the highest finish by any Filipina ever since 1994. Koreen was also the youngest of the candidates in the Miss Intercontinental 2013 pageant with the age of just 18.

Koreen is also a Star Magic talent who is a former grand winner to ABS-CBN's "My Girl," a Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 contestant, and the Grand Prize winner of the Coca-Cola Music Talent Search Finals in 2011. She also won the top title of Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2013 before the Miss Intercontinental pageant in able for her to be the representative of the Philippines.

Although Koreen graced the stage with her beauty and brains, Russia's Miss Ekaterina Plekhova was crowned as Miss Intercontinental 2013 that night. Placing first runner-up was Puerto Rico's Miss Aleyda Ortiz, second runner-up was placed by Columbia's Miss Margarita Peralta, Philippines' Miss Koreen Medina as third runner-up, and to complete the Top 5 list is South Africa's Kayla Nel who placed fourth runner-up.
