As their way of stretching out a helping
out to the victims of Super Typhoon
Yolanda, the country’s three major mobile phone operators, Sun Cellular, Globe Telecom, and Smart Communications, have all agreed
to provide users with 25 free SMS per day for five days which are also able to
be used not only locally, but internationally as well.
The three operators have created this offer
in their response to the super typhoon’s devastation it left behind. Along with
their helpful offer they are also active in working to restore their services
and assist in emergency relief activities of humanitarian agencies and of the
government.
Charles
A. Lim, the chief operating officer of Digital Mobile Philippines and
executive vice president of Smart

countrymen in their hour of great need. This joint effort will help Smart, Sun
Cellular and Talk ‘N Text subscribers in the typhoon-struck areas to
communicate with their loved ones at home and abroad.”
“This free service is open to all Globe
Postpaid, Globe Prepaid, and TM subs in these Eastern Visayas provinces. This
is the company’s way of giving assistance to our customers who are suffering
