Kapamilya introduces the comeback of Mars Ravelo’s popular lovelorn mermaid, Dyesebel as they have bought rights to create their own ABS-CBN rendition and have revealed the teaser for the teleserye entitled “Dyesebel” for this 2014.
"Mula sa karagatan, aahon muli ang kanyang pangalan," ABS-CBN stated as a teaser of their own during the announcement of the return of Dyesebel on the small-screen.
Way back in 2008, GMA-7 did their own version of “Dyesebel” starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes which enhanced the ‘Dong-Yan’ craze. This version aired for 25 episodes and in the other countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Myanmar, and China where Kapuso Primetime Queen is considered a big star.
