Just recently made, a website called
Remember the 13th.com (http://www.rememberthe13th.com/)
was created announcing a huge discovery from NASA which will ‘shake the Earth’ as it will ‘never be the same
again’. Supposedly on November 13, NASA will gather up in a meeting and give
the world an announcement of galactic proportions.
The page is actually not related to NASA in
any way which seems quite odd for legitimacy. Although on November 13, 2013,
some sources say that coincidentally there will be a power grid blackout. Also,
NASA has been known to tease the world since a similar happening during November
2010 was announced during a press conference revealing a discovery that would
“impact the search for evidence of extra-terrestrial life.” Worded
intentionally to be vague, the announcement ended up being about an
arsenic-based bacteria discovered in a California lake, crushes the hopes of
those who expected the announcement of extra-terrestrial life.
NASA’s official servers although are
offline at the moment because of the government shutdown, so does that explain
the cheap site used to make the announcement page? Or is it just strange that
NASA would even have an announcement during the current government situation?
Also due to the shutdown, NASA hasn’t been
able to continue with their operations, having their progress stuck at a
standstill.
The page, rememberthe13.com seems
interesting and NASA themed with the Space output, but in reality sense, it is
just a website template named Caelus.
The creator of the page didn’t even bother changing the original font.
Just recently, the website changed their
‘big announcement day’ from November 13th to October 6th,
which will be in around 12 hours, according to the site. We have that long to
wait for the announcement of something truly amazing or just a hoax.
What do you think? Is NASA going to tell us
they finally found little Martians up on Mars? Or is it all just a game played
by one creator to get e-mail addresses? Just wait and stay updated on the news
and website!
