‘Magic Temple’ Remake to be Made Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla

The most popular love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla a.k.a. ‘KathNiel’ will be starring a remake of the 1996 top fantasy film, ‘Magic Temple’ via Star Cinema.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Malou Santos not only revealed that Angel Locsin will be playing as Darna but also shared their plan to remake the movie ‘Magic Temple’ which they plan to make a five movie franchise.

Santos shared their plans for ‘Magic Temple’, “We’re also doing a remake of the “Magic Temple” with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. Bagong special effects din ang gagawin. In fact, we’re thinking of doing a franchise of Magic Temple na limang pelikula. ‘Pag may may Magic Temple, magkakaroon ng “Magic City,” etc. So five stories na tuloy-tuloy,”

The 1996 film was a top hit which starred then teen stars, Junell Hernando, Jason Salcedo and Marc Solis. Now as technology has advanced, we should get ready for more special effects in the new movie which first script draft has already been created. A sequel for the old movie was also created in 1997 named ‘Magic Kingdom’ and was the country’s megastar, Anne Curtis’ debut film.

Who is excited for the new KathNiel film? Well, we just have to wait as ‘agic Temple’ is planned to be released next year, 2014. For now, let us show our love to KathNiel through ‘Got to Believe’ which airs weeknight on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
