Most people who have already seen Britney Spears’’ new Music Video for “Work B***h” must already think that it is already super risqué as Britney comes back with more hotness and appeal as ever! She shows her sexy and toned body as she wears several outfits that show more than the normal amount of skin. Although we may think that way, Britney reveals the truth that the original cut was a little more than over lascivious so they had to make a huge edit.
Britney gave some time
to Boston Radio station, AMP 103.3 to talk about her video, although she didn't give much detail of the stuff they had to edit out.
"Oh my God, we
showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video then what is actually
there," she said. Britney said that she needed to lessen the footage they
originally took for the sake of her young boys, Sean and Jayden who are 8 years old and 7 years old respectively.
"I cut out half
the video because I am a mother," she stated. "I have children, and
it’s just hard to play sexy mom while you’re being a pop star as well. ... I
just have to be true to myself and you know, feel it out when I do stuff."
Britney also gave
hints towards her not complete approval of her sexy and risqué image she is
marketing through the industry, or in some case, is being advised to market. "A
lot of sex goes into what I do. But sometimes I would like to bring it back to
the old days when there was like one outfit through the whole video, and you’re
dancing the whole video, and there’s like not that much sex stuff going
on," she admits.
"It's about the
dance and it’s about being old school," she continues. "Like keeping
it real and just making it about the dance. I'd love to do a video like that.”
Britney hasn't gotten
that far yet, maybe next time she can start out minus the bull whips? Although
she hasn't gone back to old school, we have to give her credit for showing more
dancing in her latest video than her videos from years before.
She explains her
genuine love for that part of her job, "I really like to perform and I
like to do shows. It's exciting and it's great to express yourself, so I think it’s
fun."
Britney should be
proud and have a lot of fun during winter as she will start residing at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood on
December 27.
