Already back for more action is the Primetime Emmy Awards winner for Best Reality Competition Series, “The Voice” season 5 is welcoming
back the return of coaches Cee Lo Green
and Christina Aguilera as they come
back from their season 4 break.
All four original coaches who started the journey of “The
Voice” in the first place, Adam Levine,
Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Cee
Lo Green will gather back together this season as they reunite the amazing
chemistry from the previous seasons including the very popular ‘bromance’
couple between Adam and Blake.
Last season, Shakira
and Usher were the ones to fill up
the other two seats with Adam and Blake as Christina and Cee Lo took a break
from the show to attend to their other personal commitments. Cee Lo Green is
back with more pizazz than ever after returning from his live show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, ‘CeeLo Green is Loberace’ saying “I missed everyone. I’m happy to be
here.”
Christina Aguilera is also back hotter and more glamorous
than ever after she spent time with her five-year old son and traveling, says, “I
have to take breaks, stay connected with myself. I’m a mom. When I leave here I
put on sweats and a T-shirt, I check out. I needed some time to do that. I am
revived and renewed.”
Premiering on September
30, 2013 and airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:10 pm, in the same week as
the US Telecast and first and exclusive on AXN, “The Voice” is introducing its
fifth and most thrilling and possibly best ever season of the show.
The host for all five seasons, Carson Daly gave credit to Cee Lo and Christina for not having
‘missed a beat’ as it was like they never left. As he called the coaches a
‘solid group’, he proclaims that The
Voice Season 5 is the ‘best season’ they have ever made.
Although many are rejoicing over the return of the coaches,
everyone can’t help but notice that the series is starting to look like “The
Blake Shelton Show” as the country music star has already coached three
consecutive winners of The Voice since season 2. Adam Levine can’t help but
comment that Blake is ‘going down’ this year since it is impossible to win four
times in a row as he refers to a certain basketball team which would also lose
in its 4th turn. Can and will any of the coaches put Blake’s winning
streak to a stop?
Although the four coaches are coming back, coaches Usher and
Shakira will return once again next season as the family will reunite as the
four coaches will grow into six.
The promotional footage of “The Voice” aired in the US a
couple days ago shows Adam telling Blake, “You’re gorgeous, man,” and Blake
giving him a peck on his cheek.
Phenomenal talent will be shown again this season with the
start of ‘the blind auditions’ where teams are picked by only hearing the
contestants as the coaches have their backs towards the stage. If a coach like
what they hear and are impressed by their voice, they then press a button to
select the artist which will then be on their team. At this time the coach’s
swiveling chair faces the contestant and if more than one coach chose him or
her, it is then the contestant will chose his or her coach.
Once the teams are already made, the battle begins. With
help from other celebrity advisers, coaches and advisers like dedicate their
talent and time to helping their team grow as they are shared with secrets and
tips to success. All fans will feel the pressure and excitement throughout the
battle, knockout, and live performance rounds and in the end, America’s TV audience
will be the one to decide who among the coaches’ students will win the prize of
US$100,000 and a recording contract as ‘The Voice’.
Don’t miss out on all the action and journeys of contestants
through “The Voice” season 5 which again, premiers on September 30, 2013 and airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:10 pm
exclusively on AXN! Which coach will take the crown for this thrilling season?
