It's Showtime Kalokalike Face 2 Grand Finals Winner | 'Nicki Minaj' is Ultimate Kalokalike

The grand finals of ABS-CBN’s most popular afternoon time show, It’s Showtime and its most watch segment, Kalokalike Face 2 introduced the Ultimate Kalokalike winner just earlier today (Saturday September 28). The title of the Ultimate Kalokalike goes to Jennifer Catayong as Nicki Minaj.

The winner as Nicki Minaj received an amazing award of P300,000 while the first runner-up Reginald Abrio as Apl de Ap and second runner-up Michael Angelo Lasac as Mr. Bean won the cash prizes of P200,000 and P100,000 respectively. Completing the Top 5 finalists were Mark Anthony Sanchez as Abra and Raymond John Alternado as Bamboo which both received P50,000.

The competition for the Ultimate Kalokalike was battles between 34 grand finalists while the Top 15 were the chosen ones to be a part of the epic clash for the title of Ultimate Kalokalike which was held Monday through Friday (September 23-27).

Special awards were also given to competitors with each winner receiving P20,000. They are:

• Picture Frame Award (photogenic) - Apl de Ap kalokalike, Reginald Abrio
• BFF Award (congeniality) - Bamboo kalokalike, Raymond John Alternado 
• Trending Award (online star) - Abra kalokalike, Mark Anthony Sanchez
• Kumarir Award (most improved) - Taylor Lautner kalokalike, Christopher Diwata
• Texters’ Choice Award - Mr. Bean kalokalike, Michael Angelo Lasac 

Also to complete the Top 15 finalists were the Kalokalikes of Jed Madela, Jake Cuenca, Michael Jackson, Alfie Lorenzo, PNoy, Marian Rivera, Billy Crawford, Noli De Castro, Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Lautner.

It’s Showtime’s Kalokalike contest has been a trending force ever since it first came out and with the power of the viewers and netizens, “Kalokalike Face 2” was launched right after the end of the first competition which crowned Jonathan Garcia as Christopher de Leon as the Ultimate Kalokalike last June 2013.
