Megan Young: Makes Top 15 in Miss World 2013 'Beauty with A Purpose,' and will present a dance solo on Coronation Night.

Miss World Philippines 2013 Megan Young achieved making it to the finals, and top 15 of one of the most awaited challenge events of Miss World, the 'Beauty with a Purpose' award.

The Miss World Organization presents the winner of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ award with a project of $10,000 towards the involved charity the holder has been working alongside. Much to consider is that the winner will have a bigger chance of having a semifinals slot during the coronation night as she will earn big points towards her final score from the award.

Megan Young of Philippines wasn’t the only one to give a huge impact to this year’s Miss World because of charity projects as Misses Japan, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, USA, Denmark, Kosovo, Belarus, Malaysia, Turkey, and Korea were also involved in charity projects.

Determined, yet humble in her journey of achieving Philippines’ very first Miss World crown, Megan Young has reached the finals of the ‘Beach Fashion’ event, whose winners will be soon awarded during the Miss World 2013 finals on September 28, 2013.

Other than the already said events, during the coronation night in a segment called ‘The Dances of the World’, Megan will also have a 30 second solo spot showcasing a royal Muslim dance from Lanao del Sur namely, Singkil. Candidates from Nepal, US Virgin Islands, Indonesia, Namibia, Chile, Slovakia, China, Dominican Republic, and Ireland will also join Megan, according to reports.

The pageant is currently being held in Bali, Indonesia.

She also made it to the finals of the Dances of the World.
