Sensational singer, Charice reveals personal insights of
her relationship with girlfriend, Alyssa Quijiano.
In a live interview with “The
Buzz” aired on Sunday, Charice admitted that throughout the 10 years they have
known each other, Quijiano has been her source of strength and she can
definitely see herself marrying her someday.
"Nung day na naging kami,
dream come true 'yun sa akin. Pinaka the best 'yun sa akin dahil first time
kong naipaglaban nang sobra yung taong mahal ko," Charice said.
Once asked about the rumors of
future plans to marry Quijiano abroad, the singer openly answered, “In the
future.”
"Malinaw sa akin. Nakikita
ko siya sa future ko," Charice said. "Di ko masasabing matagal pa.
Siya na talaga."
Charice's wish on Christmas
Meanwhile, as the interview
continued about her coming out as a lesbian months ago, Charice admitted that
as she is still not on talking terms with her family ever since that incident,
she still misses her mother, Raquel Pempengco, and younger brother, Carl.
"Especially malapit na ang
Christmas, nandoon 'yung wish ko na magkaintindihan [kaming lahat]," she
said.
Charice is very touched and
feels loved by her friends and supporters who look past her sexual preferences, the
singer said it is still different coming from her family.
"Kahit lahat ng tao sa
mundo sabihin sa akin na proud sila sa akin, iba ang feeling kapag sa kanila
galing," Charice said with eyes already in tears.
Aiza's advice for Charice
“The Buzz” also had a live
interview with acoustic singer Aiza
Seguerra admitted that when she told her family that she is a lesbian, she
also had a hard time.
"All that she's been going
through, I've been there," Seguerra said, "It wasn't that easy too.
Kung baga, for more than a year, you're having a conflict with your
family."
The acoustic singer reminisced
the harsh days from before, yet stayed strong as she always told herself that
all things come to pass eventually.
"Take in whatever you need
to take in. Ilabas mo sa buhay mo ang dapat mong ilabas. After that you'll
emerge stronger," she told Charice.
'The Power of Two: The Unbreakable Tour' Concert
At “The Power of Two: The Unbreakable Tour”
concert at the Araneta Coliseum on September 28, Charice and Seguerra will be
powerfully performing together.
Seguerra revealed that the
concert’s concept will revolve around empowering people to be true to
themselves, exactly how Charice and Seguerra did when they admitted and showed
the world their sexual preferences.
"For this show, we want to
tell the people na it's okay to be who you are... It's better if you don't
hide, and it's better to love yourself. Kasi when you love yourself, ipapakita
noon kung sino ka talaga and people will love you," Seguerra explained.
