In a charity basketball game Monday night for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda, Vice Ganda wowed not only the crowd, but the professional basketball players in the game as well. He may have once been a PBA Muse, but he has proven everyone that he has major skills in the court also.

The hilarious comedian has been a volleyball player in the past, but he showed everyone in the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig a thing or two about hoops and how he knows how to aim just right.

During the charity basketball, Vice Ganda had an amazing 6 points of his team out of the first 11 scored before he had to excuse himself to attend a shooting. Vice Ganda was even able to impress PBA Legend, Alvin Patrimonio.

“Nagulat nga ako eh. Akala ko volleyball ang laro, pero magaling pala siya and athletic,” the legend, Patrimonio, told InterAKTV in an exclusive interview. “Siguro nung kabataan niya marami siyang sports na nasubukan. Tsaka matangkad kasi, mga around 5-foot-10, so mayroon siyang idea about the game. Tsaka may form. I was really surprised.”

No matter how hard-core his basketball skills were, Vice Ganda never forgot his forte of comedy as he provided the usual comic relief during the game b hugging both teammates and opponents, for sometimes a little longer than the norm, after good plays.

Air 21 center Asi Taulava had found himself defending against Vice Ganda during a one post-up situation stating to the public that, “He was awesome. He was too fast for us.”

One of the main organizers of the whole event, LA Tenorio, revealed Vice’s generosity as he stated that Vice insisted on being a part of the line-up despite his busy schedule.

“Si Vice, alam ko may show pa siya, dumaan lang talaga siya. Malaking bagay talaga na pumunta siya. Marunong yan. Tsaka talagang siya yung nagpapa-lineup,” said Tenorio. “Nagulat ako sa nilaro niya. Hindi natin siya kilala for playing basketball dahil volleyball laro niyan. Dapat nga may volleyball pa ito, siya dapat mag-o-organize kaso wala na siyang time.”

Are you shocked with the news of how amazing Vice plays basketball? You think he should play more often?
